Guggulsterone is a phytosteroid that has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for generations. There are currently many medicinal applications of Guggul including the treatment of arthritis, acne and other skin diseases, atherosclerosis, to lower high cholesterol, and to aid with weight loss.
